Nunkeri Warugal Gives Gunnedah Record A Shake
Written By Kevin Pitstock, Editor & Australian Greyhound Racing Expert Contributor Wednesday 11th June 2008
It was a family affair for Rick Griffiths when Nunkeri Warugal was just outside the record in running the very fast time of 24.55 in the Bundaberg Rum Stake, a grade 5 over 440 metres at Gunnedah on Monday June 9.
The dog won by a big space of 10 lengths at its first run at the distance after having won once and placed once from two attempts over the 374 metres at the track.
