Original State Wins Inaugural Tweed Heads – Casino Final

She's trained by Brad Northfield who completed a winning double on the day with Kidatee Mark winning the Mc Donald's Pharmcy stake. He went to the lead at the first turn and ran away to win by 3 3/4 lengths.

The well performed speedster Blimey may be looking at a start next month when she ran 27.62 to win the Big Dog Racing Supplements stake. Crossing quickly from box seven, she took up the running and was never headed winning by 2 1/2 lengths. It was her first start at Casino and she is trained at Fairy Hill by .

Katakolo is also in the mix for the cup, and she backed up from a Lismore win on Tuesday to run the fastest time of the day 27.50. Later, No Too Shabby recorded 27.62 when having her first run over 484 metres. She led from the first turn, and held on to score by 3/4 length for good Casino supporter Les Purnell.

Dean Turley's Bombadier held off all challenges to win the Casino RSM Club Flying by 1 3/4 lengths in 23.26, and Graftonian Jim was again successful in the final event with Shy Shazoni. She came from box five and won by a length in 27.52.

In the two distance heats, Hewitt served it up to his rivals by leading all of the way in 35.46, whilst King Ivan was prominent throughout and clocked 35.54. With these two speedy beginners engaged, it should be an exciting final this Friday.
