Written By Michael Radley, New South Wales National Coursing Association Correspondent Saturday 7th August 2010
Talented young chaser Emma Robbo tasted defeat for the first time at the Gardens last Saturday night, but she can bounce straight back on to the winner’s list tonight.
Trained at Williamtown by in form husband and wife team of Gary and Eileen Robertson, Emma Robbo has won three out of four starts at The Gardens, including a slick 22.97 performance over the new 400 metre starting point.
Last Saturday night’s defeat came on a quick three day back up, after her sib 23 second performance, where she down Brylie Belle, who has subsequently franked the form by winning on Wednesday night at The Gardens.
The best bet on a quality card tonight is Cundle Miss, number six (6) in race three (3), the Otter Group stake over 600 metres, stating
CUNDLE MISS (6) drops sharply in class on recent runs, slow beginner but has a big motor when she gets into stride, will finish all over the top of this lot.
The first seven events at The Gardens will have full TAB coverage and be seen on Skyracing1 with the Quaddie legs races four (4) to seven (7), as opposed to the usual greyhound meeting Quaddie legs of five (5) to eight (8).
The remaining three races will be non-TAB for on course patrons only, making the best way to catch all the excitement is by being at The Gardens. ‘Edens’ restaurant is open, located right on top of the action with the best seats in the house, catering great food at reasonable prices. Bookings can be made on (02) 49515842.
