Shakey Jakey Scratched From Magic Maiden

Greyhound racing's newest star, Shakey Jakey, has been withdrawn from this 's semi-final of the Sportingbet series at .

Trainer informed ARG that his flying son of Collsion and Kiacatoo Pearl ( – Naughty Thoughts) was in doubt on his way home from this afternoon, where he landed another with his brother Long Range.

“I will have a good look at him when I get home, but it is not looking good,” Pringle said, before recently confirming that he would not take his place on Friday night.

“He hurt himself in the catching pen after the heat and we are still hoping to get him up for the semi. The dog is definitely not retired though. We want to show people what he can really do. Imagine this dog at a one bend track, it could be scary.”

Shakey Jakey looked to have a mortgage on the series after lowering the Wentworth Park track record set by Punch One Out last Sunday afternoon at his first race appearance.

Shakey Jakey was phenomenal on his way to a 29.07 run which included a scintillating run home of 11.32.

The series has now been thrown wide open with a huge amount of chances now in the hunt for the $25,000 to-the-winner Three event.

Oh the pressures of racing a freak how stressed out would you be ? every decision you make is scrutinised , debated then the keyboard heroes with the benefit of hindsight attack… When the money is there sell i say lol

Would’ve been a risk tonight from poor draw. Get him to bulli and maitland on big tracks. Will break those records then retire to stud.
