Temora Cup Heats Show Up Talent Prior To Temora’s First TAB Meeting

Last Saturday Temora held the first meeting of their carnival, a 13 race card was held.

The first race the maiden 457m being won by Scarborough trained by Nola Richards in 26.81.

First heat of the was taken out by Ricky Lee trained by leading city trainer in the slowest heat of 26.34.

Heat two of the honours went to Divine Rush who jumped to the front and led all the way in the smart time of 25.94 for Patrick Parrelli and should be one of the favourites for the final.

Next race was the 0 – 3 final 311 metres the winner Swan Hill Gold never left them in doubt running away to win by 10 lengths in a fast 17.73 and was the first winner of a treble for Wagga trainer Ben Talbot.

Race five Park Kennels 570 trophy race. The winner jumping from box 1 Printer Delight flew the lids and run the field off their legs to win by 8 lengths this dog is owned by the Fab Three Synd and trained by P. Clark in 33.39.

Heat three of the gave the Wesley McDonald trained Mimy’s Mystery a start in the Cup in the time of 26.20

Race seven Molly Harmer Memorial 311 was the first of two heats and was won by the trained dog Raging Dollar – he ran 18.4.

Race 8 heat 4 of the was probably the best run of all the winners of the Cup heats.

The Joe Cotroneo trained missed the kick and then hampered all the way down the back straight when she fought her way to the front around the bend and powered home to win by 2 engths in the time of 26.20. With a good start in the final she will be one to watch.

Race 9 the second heat of Molly Harmer 311 Broke jumped in front to win in 17.73 – she is trained by .

Race 10 heat 5 of the lived up to his name being the best dog in the heat winning in 26.02 and gave his 2nd win for the night.

Race 11 made it to the judge in fastest heat time of 25.90 and should start favourite for trainer Patrick Parrelli.

Race 12 Millers Battlers Stake 457 was won by Stealthy Flash in 26.02 another winner for Ben Talbot.

Race 13 Volunteers Stake and the third of Ben Talbots dogs to win was Courageous. He flew the lids to win by 10 lengths in 17.73.

Temora races again on Saturday afternoon 6/3/10 and the Final will be run at a Temora’s first ever twilight TAB meeting faeturing Sky Racing coverage on 7th March 2010.
