Temora Cup Rescheduled

The Temora Cup meeting has been re-scheduled after the meeting scheduled for yesterday afternoon was called off due to torrential rain.

The Temora Cup meeting featured eight finals and each of these finals will now be staged at a re-scheduled meeting next Sunday morning, March 14, commencing at 10am.

Two non-final events, originally scheduled for last Sunday’s meeting, have been abandoned and the Club has called for new nominations, preference to 457m graded events applying.

Nominations for these events will close with the Temora Club on Wednesday, March 10 at 1pm.

Sunday’s meeting will be covered by NSW TAB and Sky Channel.

NSW GBOTA Area Director, Bill Schwencke, though disappointed at the cancellation of last Sunday’s meeting, was upbeat about the re-scheduled meeting.

“The fields are of excellent quality and will be attractive to punters,” said Schwencke.

“Its just that punters will have to be on the job a little earlier than usual.”
