Turbo Powering To Third Straight Victory

Port Macquarie trainer Greg Carragher is hoping the old saying “it happens in threes” proves prophetic when he lines up Turbo Tiger in race seven, the Tooheys New Stake at The Gardens tonight.

The red brindle son of boom sire Bit Chili and I’m Elitist is looking for his third successive win at the track and distance and he’ll start a warm favourite to do so from the inside box.

Two starts ago Turbo Tiger ran a best of the night 30.10 for the 515 metres and then backed it four days later with a strong 30.29 performance, coming from off the pace.

Our form expert says “Turbo Tiger (1) has strung together consecutive wins here in similar grade & is boxed to continue on his winning run, the one to beat”.

There are 10 quality races on tonight’s card, covered by Sky Racing1, but the best way to catch all the excitement is by being at The Gardens. ‘Edens’ restaurant is open with great food at reasonable prices, right on top of the action. Bookings can be made on (02) 49515842.

You can bet live on tonight’s bumper card at The Gardens at Sportset or Iasbet, with the first race tonight scheduled to kick off at 7.06pm AEST
