Waikato Classic Court Injunction Hearing Adjourned

Earlier this month Mr Harding successfully applied for a district court injunction to postpone the $30,000 First Sovereign Trust Waikato Classic greyhound race at Cambridge.

Mr Harding alleged the race was not being run in accordance with the terms of the race. One condition was that dogs had to be in the country before September 24.

In granting the earlier injunction, Judge Robert Wolff said there was a possibility the club had breached its own .

Yesterday the court gave Mr Harding two weeks to file and serve affidavits in support of his notice of opposition.

Mr Harding's lawyer, Giles Brant, told the court that both parties were anxious to have the matter resolved.
