Albion Park To Race Tuesday Nights

Written By Kevin Pitstock, Editor & Australian Greyhound Racing Expert Contributor On Friday 1st August 2008

Albion Park Tuesday night meetings will commence as of Tuesday 5 August 2008.

Greyhounds Queensland have confirmed the following arrangements for the conduct of Tuesday night meetings:

  • Kennelling to commence at 6.30pm to 7.15pm (Greyhounds Queensland has approved a 45 minute kennelling period)
  • 1st race to commence at approx. 7.50pm (subject to Sky Channel)
  • Trainers are to access the designated carpark off Jobson Street only (Tuesday meetings only)
  • Temporary fencing has been erected at the Northern end of the float carpark to the area adjacent to the Gartrell Street entrance as an emptying out area.
  • No stewards or reserve trials will be conducted at Tuesday race meetings due to the shortened kennelling period and commencement of the 1st race.

Greyhounds Queensland advise that these arrangements are necessary to ensure there is no crossover of activities between the conclusion of the harness meeting and commencement of the greyhound meeting.
