Queensland Greyhounds Suffer A Third Positive Swab

In a remarkable coincidence another greyhound trainer with the surname of Morris has been found guilty of presenting a greyhound to race with a drug in its system.

had only just found Jackson Morris guilty of presenting two greyhounds to race with caffeine present in their systems, and have now found guilty of a similar offence.

Stewards convened an on the 12th September 2008 in relation to the urine sample taken from the greyhound which competed on the 4th August 2008 at the in Race 3 (placed 1st) and subsequently returned positive to the drug .

Morris appeared at the inquiry representing himself and pleaded not guilty to the charges but Greyhounds Queensland Stewards found him guilty as charged and imposed a $250 fine.

Stewards also disqualified Bronsan Miss from here winning run on the 4th August 2008.
