Neil Rawlings Fined $450 After Incident At Gawler

on 16th April 2014 opened and completed an into an incident at race meeting on the 16th March 2014 following Race 8 between licensed trainers Mr Colin Swain and Mr Neil Rawlings.

Stewards after taking into account evidence from Mr Colin Swain and Mr Neil Rawlings and Licensed participants, Mr A Manton, Mr K Stott, Ms K Johnstone, Ms P Hearnden and Stewards' Mr D Southgate, and Mrs J Jones formed the opinion that there was sufficient evidence to lay a charge against Mr Neil Rawlings under Greyhound Racing 86(o).

R86 Offences

(o) has, in relation to a greyhound or greyhound racing, done a thing, or omitted to do a thing, which, in the opinion of the Stewards or the Controlling Body, as the case may be, is negligent, dishonest, corrupt, fraudulent or improper, or constitutes ;

Mr. Rawlings pleaded guilty to the charge laid, and was fined the sum of $450.

Stewards advised Mr. Swain that they believed on this occasion there was insufficient evidence to proceed further with him. However he was advised of his obligations as a licensed person.
