Cool Mama Loses Cranbourne Win

GRVStewards this morning have advised Australian Racing Greyhound.com, that the Chris Johannsen trained greyhound Cool Mama, has been disqualified from her recent Cranbourne victory.

The stewards have advised that “..following the Cranbourne Greyhound Racing Club’s meeting on 26th May, 2008, it has come to the notice of Stewards that the greyhound “COOL MAMA” (which had competed in Event 9 from Box 3) had varied in weight by more than one (1) kilogram from its last declared start at Warrnambool on 30 April, 2008.”

“After investigating the matter, Stewards have disqualified “COOL MAMA” from 7th position from Event 9 – Top Cat Video - at Cranbourne on 26 May, 2008 and the official placings will now read as follows:

  • 1st Cuga Quickstep
  • 2nd Why Not Bart
  • 3rd Twist Mist
  • 4th Dan Flack
  • 5th Resettled
  • 6th Dark Secret
  • Disq. Cool Mama
