Greyhound Racing Victoria have today announced the first round of nominee’s for their prestigious GRV Greyhound Of The Year award.
The 2008 GRV GOTY will be announced on Friday 6th February 2008 at Crown Palladium.
“First round nominations for the 2008 Victorian Greyhound of the Year award were recently announced and are as follows (inalphabetical order)…El Galo, Gunnadoo Magic, Regal Thyme, Sonador, Tasman Queen, Whippy’s Image.”
Further nominations will be announced as the year progresses, however it would be fair to say El Galo with two scintillating country cups victories at Bendigo and Warrnambool; and Tasman Queen, the Group 1 Australian Cup winner; would be early favourites at this stage.
