Staying star Drill ‘Em showed why he is rated as one of the nation's finest half-milers with an all the way win in the Group 1 Macro Meats Super Stayers Final at The Meadows last Saturday night.
Trained by David Knocker, the brindle chaser jumped straight to lead in the $50,000 to the winner final and never relinquished it, scoring by three and a half lengths over 2009 National Distance Champion Jarvis Bale.
Next Top Model, from box six, finished third, six and a half lengths away from the winner, who ran a fast 42.53. Favourite Satanic Cash ($2.60) ran fifth.
