“Grade 5 series are an integral part of the racing calendar and an important stepping stone for young greyhounds. The increased prizemoney for these grade 5 finals is an excellent complement to the recent prizemoney increases to the Group calendar.”
The announcement comes after extensive discussions between the two clubs in advance of changes to the Australian group racing calendar due in 2011.Association
The first $10,000 to-the-winner grade 5 final will be run at Sandown Park on Thursday 16th July followed by The Meadows on Saturday 15th August.
