Little Geisha Tests Positive For Caffeine

The RWWA Stewards have been advised by the Chemistry Centre in Perth that the post race urine sample taken from the Greyhound Little Geisha after it had won race 10 at Mandurah on Thursday, 14 August 2008 contained the prohibited substance caffeine.

This finding has been confirmed by the Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory in Sydney.

An inquiry into this report will be conducted at the RWWA Stewards room at Cannington Greyhound Centre on Thursday, 2 October 2008 at 11am.

Trainer Mr David Groves has been requested to attend this inquiry.
