Greyhound Racing Tips For Tuesday 31st March 2009

Welcome to Australian Racing Greyhound’s free Greyhound Racing Tips for Tuesday 31st March 2009 with Tips tonight from Albion Park (Queensland), Gosford (New South Wales), Lismore (New South Wales), Warragul (Victoria) and Mandurah (West Australia).

Just the 4 winners yesterday, and for the first time Sportsbet was our best result losing less than 1 bet on the night. After last night’s racing Tearaway Tanya comes out of the Australian Racing Greyhound Kennel as she is not beginning as she was and that’s her biggest asset. What for her to return after a short beak.

There was no lay of the night declared as we couldn’t identify a suitable odds-on favourite that looked vulnerable enough.

Greyhound Racing Tips For Monday 30th March 2009

Welcome to Australian Racing Greyhound’s free Greyhound Racing Tips for Monday 30th March 2009 with Tips tonight from Cranbourne (Victoria), Wentworth Park (New South Wales), Albion Park (Queensland) and Angle Park (New South Wales).

Yesterday’s racing predicatbly threw up some rough results in the Group 3 2009 Multiquip Magic Maiden but we managed to find 6 winners from our 17 selections and returned a very nice profit to put us back in the black with our best paying bookmaker Betfair.

Again we nailed our Lay of the night selection with Aston Volante following the script to perfection and getting beaten at $1.80. With the winner paying in excess of $19.00, again we remind our followers to either lay the greyhound nominated as the lay of the night at Betfair or do some homework and go wide to find the winner and the excotics. That takes our lay of the night selections record to an amazing 90% strike rate.

El Galo Overcomes Traffic To Make Another Group 1 Final

Owner Seona Hood and champion Victorian sprinter El Galo had to overcome traffic before emphatically winning their heat of the $150,000 to the winner Group 1 Golden Easter Egg on Saturday night.

But the traffic wasn’t on the greyhound track as El Galo exploded from box 8 to run the same first sectional split as New South Wales glamour girl Miss Elly Mint, to lead untouched.

Running a quick 5.37 best of night first section, El Galo cruised to the second mark in the best of the night running 13.74 (Miss Elly Mint 13.83) and the ran home in a very respectable 16.09 for a best of night 29.83. Miss Elly Mint managed a 30.14 run leading through out.

McDonald Escapes With Only $500 Fine For Positive Swab

Victorian GRV Stewards Brian Williams and Glen Fish have just concluded their Stewards Inquiry in to the positive swab returned by Horsham runner Carlinford Ron trained by Darren McDonald.

This positive swab was notable not just because it was a greyhound trained by one of Victoria’s leading greyhound trainers, but because was the second positive swab in Victoria in a greyhound to Buscopan after El Galo lost the Group 1 2008 Topgun swabbibng positive to the same substance.

News of McDonald’s positive swab surfaced just as Thompson was preparing to appeal against El Galo’s Topgun disqualification, and it highly likely that with two positive swabs to Buscopan in inquiry at the same time, that influenced Thompson’s decision not to appeal.

Outsider Priority Demand’s Best Of Day At Grafton

Ulmarra greyhound Priority Demand was the fastest heat winner of the Coutts Crossing Cup at Grafton on Saturday.

Jumping from box two, the Ken and Bridget Neave-trained greyhound raced to the front at the first turn and was far too strong in the run home for the odds-on favourite Orara Flash, trained by Gary Smith.

Priority Demand ($7) won the Anne Hunter heat by 4-3/4 lengths in 23.25 seconds, the best time of the day.

Womann Flies The Vic Flag In The Golden Easter Egg Heats

Tina Womann – one of the sport’s most decorated female trainers – is still chasing a dream of winning the Group 1 Golden Easter Egg.

She prepared two Easter Egg finalists in 2005 – litter brothers Trewly Special (3rd) and Go Forever (5th).

And last year, she guided Trew Millions (6th) – a younger full-brother of that pair – into the final of the NSW GBOTA’s flagship sprint.

Greyhound Racing Tips For Sunday 29th March 2009

Welcome to Australian Racing Greyhound’s free Greyhound Racing Tips for Sunday 29th March 2009 with Tips tonight Wentworth Park (New South Wales) Sale (Victoria) and Canberra (Australian Capital Territory). At Wenworth Park, we have heats of the much sought after Group 3 Multiquip Magic Maiden.

Yesterday’s racing, particularly through the Golden Easter Egg heast threw up plenty of upsets, as they did this time last year; and consequently we undid some of the pretty excellent work we’d managed over the poast four nights.

For the second time we did not nominate a Lay of the night selection as we couldn’t identify a suitably vulnerable odds on runner.

Rapid Sally Returns To The 600 And Form At Casino

A return to the staying distance helped Rapid Sally regain her best form at the Casino meeting last Friday.

Since resuming from a spell she has been thereabouts in sprinting events, but going over the 620 metres allowed her to take up the leader’s position, and free wheeling with a lap to go, she held a big lead.

Slowly but surely seasoned performer True Buzz set off after her, but the winning post loomed too quickly and Rapid Sally was able to hang on and score by a head. Shane Ensby prepares the winner, and it was her second victory over the distance with more in store.

I’m sure once you analyze each heat you’ll find some vaule to give you a good run next week in the semi-finals.

Last night’s Tips pretty much held ground for us. We found plenty of winners but there was little value, although it has to be said that $1.40 for the Richmond 717m Track Record Holder over the same track and distance with Laura’s Legacy was money for jam. And the $2.11 for Forty Twenty was like taking corn from a blind cockie.

Greyhound Racing Tips For Friday 27th March 2009

Welcome to Australian Racing Greyhound’s free Greyhound Racing Tips for Friday 27th March 2009 with Tips tonight from Geelong (Victoria), Richmond (New South Wales) and selected races from Mandurah (West Australia).

It was a red letter night for our free Tips with a 57% profit from the 15 bets and 6 runners getting home, with more than a few at good odds. After a slow start and a huge hole at one stage, we are now in the black at our best paying greyhound betting bookie at Betfair, and our other greyhound betting bookmakers are all less then 9% down over the 254 selections so far. It’s just a matter of time until we’re showing profits well over 25%.

To sweeten the deal we made Qayyim Bale the lay of the night and he didn’t dissapoint, or more correctly disappointed just like we thought he would. Qayyim Bale manged to burn a hole in uneducated punters pockets starting at $1.90 and having every chance to win. For those that took our advice, the prise was sweet, a $51 winner. Thats the second race in which we’ve delcared an absolute lay and the winner has paid over $40. Not bad for an eight dog field and that takes us to 8 correct lays from 9 selections.
