Rinhals Wins Twice In 3 Days At Casino
The unusually named Rinhals made it two wins in three days when he won the Country Energy stake at Casino last Friday.
Spearing out from box six, the Shane Robinson trained sprinter set up a winning break at the winning post the first time, and from there the result was never in doubt.
Punters had him short in the market after his all of the way win the previous Tuesday, and they never had a worry as he won in similar fashion, clocking 27.69 for the 484 metres.

Greyhounds Qld Throw Mackays Greyhounds A Lifeline
Greyhounds Queensland have narrowly averted a public relations disaster in the wake of Dog Death Row publicity stemming from Mackay.
The publicity has been largely generated by the local club and local trainers themselves in order to cause Greyhounds Queensland maximum embarrassment over the decision to close their greyhound track.
Unfortunately, while the campaign has been effective in getting media attention, none of it would convince any government to reverse the decision, and has only served to further the causes of the already active animal welfare brigade.

No One Told Helen El Galo Was Supposed To Win
Who Told Helen caused the upset of the night when she defeated El Galo in a heat of the inaugural Group 3 Dawson at Sandown Park last night.
El Galo ($1.50) didn’t show his customary dash from the boxes and was forced to work around the field from box 7. Who Told Helen ($28.80) began well to lead early and despite being stalked by El Galo down the back, proved too good to win the heat in 29.93.
Jarvis Bale ($20) and Birthday Boy ($6) finished strongly to dead-heat for second and deny El Galo a berth in the $40,000 to-the-winner final and ensure Rapid Journey’s long standing prizemoney record survives a while longer yet.
