YOSEMITE SAINT
While most of his similarly
aged competitors retired, due to their injuries and
other reasons, "SAM" kept his fitness and
great chasing heart and was still winning top grade
races at 4 1/2 years of age in Best Of Meeting
times.
In the Lithgow
Golden Muzzle, SAM, despite jumping with his
customary speed and zeal, the eventual winner got
a vital break at the jump, and maintained the advantage
to the line.
