The feature trophy race worth $5,000 to the winner is named after renowned greyhound enthusiast and Queensland Greyhound Form Guide pioneer, Molly Campbell, who started the Molly Campbell Silver Collar in 1974 at Capalaba.
The Collar was later relocated to Albion Park in 1997 and renamed the Molly Campbell Silver Dollars. Sadly, Molly Campbell passed away in 1998 but the race continues on in her legacy.
