After two days of solid racing, the Daryl Mader owned, trained ARTHUR BEECH took out the 2010 by a length and a half over a very impressive DAKOTA FLAIR.

Carole was a very excited and emotional trainer after the win and was full of praise for the Club, her helpers and, of course, the dog.

Dakota Flair provided Cossie and Rosie Lopresto with a good result and surprised quite a few patrons with her impressive efforts throughout the meeting.

Panic All Around At Virginia Coursing In SA

With a full field for the Ruby Loans Rising Star Stakes, the Where’s Pedro x Keep Token litter certainly gave no signs of panic when filling 3 of the first 4 placings.

CEASE TO PANIC defeated PANIC by 4 lengths with Slipper’s Luck and Keep Looking filling equal 3rd. (trainer) combined with (owner) to take out this prestigious event – commenting that he’ll be back for the Derby.

No Reason To Panic At Virginia’a Coursing

In bitter cold and windy conditions, the trained and owned Panic sent out an early warning message when he took out the Rising Star prelude in fine style defeating Barb Cahill’s Lady In Waiting.

The Emerley Park Mixed Stake saw the return of to field racing when she defeated Barry Jones’ Slipper’sTonic – with strong winds from the southwest, extremely fast times were recorded in this event, 14.96, 14.94, 14.89 and 14.88 (best).

Cosie Lopresto was all smiles when Bella Dakota greeted the judge in the Kennard’s Hire Maiden Stake defeating Mac’s Cult.
