Littermates Scores Casino Doubles Twice
Two sets of litter mates gave local trainers Chris Schaefer and Rob Andrews winning doubles at the Casino meeting on Friday.
Chris won with Procord and Taxapro, and they both scored victories in 3rd and 4th grade events.

Crown Hi Impressive In Casino Blue Paws Maiden
A smart beginning allowed maiden greyhound Crown Hi run a fast 27.58 in winning his heat of the Blue Paws maiden last Friday.
The Jason Fredericks trained galloper had been tardy at box rise in his previous two starts, but the improvement in box manners showed his true ability.

Acquired Annexes Casino RSL GD Waldron Trophy
A strong mid race run enabled the Peter Simpson trained Acquired to take out the Casino RSLClub / D G Waldron trophy last Friday.
Beginning with the field, he was able to cross from box seven to get into a good position as the field worked their way into the back, and this is where he took off.

Gazza Shiraz Looks Good In Casino Cup Heats
Gazza Shiraz set the time standard of 27.29 in winning his heat of the Charcoal Inn Casino Cup last Friday. Usually a good beginner, he was a little tardy on box rise, but threaded his way through to grab the front at the top turn. He raced away to win impressively by 3 3/4 lengths. He is trained by the old master Paul Cauchi for local owner Terry Jordan.
