Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) today issued a warning to members of the sport about the prolonged excretion time of the prohibited substance Firocoxib, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) commonly found in the registered veterinary product Previcox.

There is no known data supporting the withholding period of any preparation containing Firocoxib in greyhounds.
