Group 3 MultiQuip Magic Maiden Series Hampered By Breakdown
In an embarassing gaffe for the NSW GBOTA last night, the Group 3 MultiQuip Magic Maiden Series Semi Finals were delayed over an hour after the lure cable snapped during the first race of the evening.
Becasue of the congested scheduling of the Easter Egg Carnival, and the fact the Magic Maiden Series runners who qualified for the final would be required back on Saturday night, stewards and track staff had no option to delay all races and try and fix the problem.

MultiQuip Magic Maiden Series Brings The Cream To The Top Again
The 2008 MultiQuip Magic Maiden Series has drawn out some of the best bred greyhounds in Australia to race during the daylight hours at Wenworth Park on Monday 10th March 2008. Oddly enough thought, while the Group 1 Golden Easter Egg has been dominated by interstate raiders and professional trainers, this series has not attracted one single interstate bounty hunter after the $20,000 final prizemoney. This may be due in part to the poor $255 win only prize money on offer for the heats.
Having said that, the 16 heats are chock full of New South Wales best blood and we thought we’d take aquick look through the 2008 MultiQuip Magic Maiden Series Fields and highlight some of the genetically potential talent on offer.
