Greyhound Racing Victoria has been notified by Racing Analytical Services Limited (RASL) that analysis of the preliminary urine sample taken from the greyhound El Galo following its win in the Group 1 Topgun, Race 8 at The Meadows on 25th October, 2008 indicates the presence of the drug N-butyl-hyoscine.

Queenslander Knocka Norris equalled the deeds of his father Elite State by brilliantly winning the Group 1 Rapidvite National Sprint Championship Final (520m) at Wentworth Park. Vic Metro Clubs Launch Mini Carnivals Stakes Increases
An innovative five-year Group Racing proposal put together by Victoria’s two metropolitan clubs has been approved by the Board of Greyhound Racing Victoria. As a result the Melbourne Greyhound Racing Association (MGRA), which races at The Meadows, and the Sandown Greyhound Racing Club will each introduce annual mini-carnivals.
