Deans Have Strong Hand In NSW Nat Sprint Heats
Trainer Richard Dean is hoping history can repeat itself this year, when he lines up Thai Again in one of four heats of the NSW National Sprint heats this Saturday night. Dean and his wife, Patricia took out the 1999 National Sprint Final at Wentworth Park with Harry Hand, a greyhound which had a similar record to Thai Alert going into the 1999 series.

Mackay Looks To A Local Victory

Mackay gained the title of the ‘King of the Nationals’ with three successive grand final victories - Classy Customer in the 2005 distance championship in Perth, Texas Gold’s 2006 record breaking performance in the distance final on his home track, Wentworth Park and Mackay’s break through group 1 sprint victory, a win in the Tasmanian hosted 2007 series with Immortal Love.
