Ipswich Greyhounds Race 8 Box 1 Tear Away Size, 6.07pm

Little Tear Away Size is my on top selection again here tonight. The daughter of and Surf Queen has been beaten in her last couple by handy dogs from wide boxes. She's drawn the red here tonight and while it's a hot field, she's more then capable of winning this on her merits. She's generally a fast beginner and shows good strength at the end of her races. She has won here in a fast 30.59 four starts back from box three and will have to be at her best if she is to win.

Runners 2,3,4,5 will all challenge at some stage and make their presence felt. If Tear Away Size can jump and land in front she'll have enough in hand to hold on. If she fails to fire out then New Gleam, Jungle Junction or Grin And Win will be right there to swoop. It's hard to separate them so I suggest taking a boxed first four.

Box runners 1,2,4,5 $24 for 100%.

Lismore Greyhounds Race 8 Box 3 Rush Of Power, 9.05pm

Rush of Power for trainer is the class runner with speed to burn. He's been disappointing despite winning two of his last three starts at . He did win in very fast time at Casino over the 600, but didn't beat much in the process. When first put into training Rush Of Power was shaping up to be a real top liner, he won a feature race at , but never really fulfilled that high expectation.

He's had two goes here for two placings, with a best time of 30.66. He's certainly capable of much faster than 30.66, so with a clean jump I expect him to lead all the way. As long as he's not to short I suggest backing him.

Moss Gambo is going great guns at present so keep him safe.

Mandurah Greyhounds Race 3 Box 7 What's Running, 8.47pm

The old boy What's Running looks a great chance in this sort of race. He was pretty good last week after coming away midfield before running home hard to finish third. Box six runner Lindback is a flying machine with a PB of 22.43, but he hasn't been in that form recently.

Box two runner Theo Gundi is another runner who has a fast PB and can win, but like Lindback he hasn't been racing like he can. What's Running is likely to start at big odds, but he's racing well and down a long way in grade.

If double figure odds are available I suggest backing him each way and roving him with runners 2,3,6 in a trifecta $18.00 for 100%.

Best of luck
