Greyhound Tips For Friday 12th April 2013

Yesterday's Results: Captain Clarrie – Third, El Brooklyn – Unplaced, Brent Bale- Winner $2.20, Mimicking – Winner $4.80.

Great night of racing with The Victorians dominating all around the country with winners in the heats, and Victoria also supplying both winners of the feature races.

Ipswich Greyhounds Race 1 Box 3 Where's Bluey, 3.52

Maiden Race here, and they all have no legs. It's really madness selecting a runner in such a shocking race, but Col Byers is one of 's leading trainers, and I'm sure he's able to collect the chocolates in this with Where's Bluey. He's run quick times when running placings before and he only needs to reproduce his best effort to wallop these. He's capable of around 25.30 and the entire field will be lucky to break 26.00 seconds. On that fact alone he must win this race.

Casino Greyhounds, Race 10 Box 2 Hanify's Diamond. 2.47pm

Tough race with many winning chances. in Northern NSW, is Australia's only Tab grass track. It's extremely well supported with full fields and 12 races every week. It takes a track specialists to consistently win here. The track is as close to a circle as you will get and dogs are generally on 3 legs the whole way around. Hanify's Diamond, is our selection in this. He has recently been relocated down to Casino, and is well familiarized with the track. Inside information tells me he's feeling 110 percent and he does possess a very big motor, evident in his flying run at Tweed in 23.28. He's quite moody and does need things his own way. He should lead this race early, and if he gets out takes off, he's going to be mighty hard to beat. Right box, in the right race, and he's feeling fantastic. Each way.

The Gardens Greyhounds. Race 3 Box 6 Joe Hanley. 4.25pm

400m scamper here and not an event I like tipping in, but Joe Hanley, is a super quick dog who can really fly when he gains the right draw or luck. Box 6 will make today's task a mammoth one but he should start at big odds from out wide here. He does need plenty of luck, and there's no possible way to predict it how he gets it. He should be great odds and only back him as an each way chance if he's good odds.

Wentworth Park Greyhounds, Race 4 Box 2 Royal Fringe, 8.19pm

Another tough race with many chances. No League will start the favourite, and rightly so as the daughter of has earned well over $100,000. But she is a mad railer, and jumps quickly and heads straight to the rail. This may bring her unstuck in this tonight. For that reason, Royal Fringe is our selection here in this. She's only had the 2 starts here with 1 placing. She's well suited by the inside box and should get a soft run here. She capable of going quicker than her PB of 30.24, and she will need to in order to win this. She needs luck but if No Rules League misses the start and fails to get across. She may bob up here. Each Way.

Geelong Greyhounds, Race 9 Box 9 Street Danger, 9.49pm

We may be able to get a rough one up her in this. The two favorites Soho Rhythm and Sweet Shadow, are both very moody and may get knocked off here. I don't like the box draw for them, but they do appear miles better than the others. Street Danger for is the knockout chance for mine. She's drawn in between the two favorites and will need luck, but she's looks the best of the rest behind the two main hopefuls. I just get the feeling both favorites may find trouble and if they do Street Danger could be the one. Each Way.

Best of luck
