Dyna Lachlan Awarded January Greyhound Of The Month

's for January 2010 is New South Wales owned and Victorian trained sprinter . The outstanding trained black dog came close to winning a Group 1 in 2009 but just didn't make it. However the New Year has started brilliantly for the talented sprinter.

After winning the Interstate Challenge at on January 7th in a best of the night 29.50 he was narrowly beaten in his semi chasing home local Where's Diamond in 29.86. Dyna Lachlan made no mistakes in the final jumping straight to the front and making light work of the outstanding field leading all the way to record his first Group 1 success.

For the record Dyna Lachlan beat Strictly Mambo and Mr. Metz third. Time for the final was 29.48 3/100th slower than last year final with sectional splits of 4.37 and a fast 16.73.

Dyna Lachlan has had a short let up and his next assignment is the Group 1 Invitational at on February 13th. “Dyna” has drawn box 5 in the star studded line up and is sure to run a bold race if the Adelaide Cup win is an indication of what the star sprinter is capable of 2010 is looking good.
