He Knows Uno Awarded June 2011 Australian Greyhound Run of The Month
AGRA's Run of the Month for June 2011 has been awarded for the second time this year to come from behind sprinter He Knows Uno.
He won the award for another outstanding performance to come from last and win the Group 3 Flying Amy Classic on June 16th.
The son of Primo Uno-Honeymoon's Over came from a clear last just after the start to swoop through along the rails and grab the lead before racing away in the straight to win by a length and three-quarters in 30.29.
Aretha Trick, who had led from the back straight to near the home turn, fought on gamely for second with four and a quarter lengths to Cawbourne Cody in third.
He Knows Uno has a great record at Albion Park it reads an impressive nine wins and two seconds from 12 starts.
Apart from the Group 3 Flying Amy Classic, the dog has also won the Group 1 Brisbane Cup, been second in the Group 1 Golden Easter Egg, Group 1 Winter Cup and Group 2 Bulli Cup plus he was third in the Group 2 Ipswich Gold Cup.
As usual there were some outstanding runs recorded in June but He Knows Uno got the nod for his outstanding performance running down a field of quality greyhounds in the Group 3 final.
