Peter Mosman Heats Overflowing With Talent
Despite the biggest race on the NSW racing calendar, the Golden Easter Egg done and dusted, the talent that will grace Wentworth Park in tomorrow nights Group One Peter Mossman Classic can be similarly compared to those who contested Australia's richest race with an array of quality greyhounds over ten heats.
The inaugural age restricted race for greyhounds born on of after December 1st 2008 has been won by some of the Countries best who have gone on to claim more prestigious group races. These include; 2010 winner Tuiaki, Surf Lorian (2004), Elite State (2003) (Race Record 29.86) and Winsome Dollars (2001).
In heat one, Majella Fergusons Sanfe gets a great chance in race 1, drawing the coveted red box and with good form at Wentworth Park should fill a placing. Graeme Bate is on target to claim yet another Group One at Wentworth Park with his young prodigy Allen Harper coming to Wentworth Park with perfect form, six wins and one third placing from just seven starts.
With a handy box three draw he is not only a major threat to this heat but to the overall series. His last win just four days ago at Horsham, he recorded a best of the night 27.28 over the 480m. Jason Mackay's Zipping Lad who has an impressive Wentworth Park personal best of 29.77 can overcome a poor box five draw and Mary Wright's star Noble Pedro despite drawing unfavorably in box 4, has a personal best of 29.79 and will be a threat to the front runners.

Recent Easter Egg place getter Adam Meway, despite drawing out wide in box 7, has tremendous early pace, with a first split of 5.38 that should see him be one of the frontrunners at the winning post. Lochinvar Coco, comes off amazing form at Betchoice Gardens including a personal best of 29.42, however is having her first start at Wentworth Park but to her advantage has drawn ideally in box two.
Dyna Fig has solid two turn circuit form in Victoria and has drawn favorably in box one and Neville Brown's Dana Travis, made up good ground in her Wentworth Park debut from the tricky box five in a solid 30.40.
Tips: 7-2-1-4
Despite a somewhat disappointing Easter Egg campaign, Kilty Lad gets a great chance to redeem himself, coming up with box one in heat three. Some solid recent form in Victoria in similar class company should see the winner of 18 races; give a great sight from in front.
Anthony Azzopardi's Nirvana Keroma, despite only having 5 starts, is yet to be unplaced and has recorded a respectable 30.39 at Wentworth Park. Graeme Bates Allen Lennox, has been unplaced in 5 starts in Victoria including a flying 29.62 at Sandown Park and from box five Cousin Callum has been unplaced at his 5 Wentworth Park starts with a personal best of 30.20.
Tips: 1-3-2-5
With a personal best at Sandown Park of 29.59, In Hiding for Tina Womann, is ideally drawn in box two and consistent early pace will see him in the firing line early. Shereen Bale for Graeme Bate is as consistent as they come; placing in her last five starts she ran a gallant second behind Tonelli Bale in the recent Group Two Ladies Bracelet and will be there again from box three.
Despite a poor box six draw, Group Three Magic Maiden winner Zipping Man for Jason Mackay is three wins from three starts at Wentworth Park and a recent 618m impressive win at Richmond, proves he can handle the awkward draw. Despite only one Wentworth Park win, Fantasy Gift for Anthony Lord comes up with box one and her excellent early pace should see her fill a place.

Heat five consists of classy sprinter Cool Rattler who will exit from box one and is a consistent Wentworth Park performer, her last two starts have resulted in two second placings but from a much harder box seven draw. Another talented Jason Mackay Sprinter Zipping Jewel who is drawn out wide in box 8, two weeks ago recorded a blistering 29.69, despite a sometimes risky beginner should be able to handle the wide draw.
Having no luck in his last start at Sandown Park, Anthony Azzopardi's Fancy Will returns to Wentworth Park where he is yet to be unplaced from four starts. Two weeks ago he recorded a fast 29.95 win from box three but will have to overcome the tricky box six and Allen Lawson for Graeme Bate has good form from the wide boxes and will need to use this to his advantage exiting from box seven. He has a personal best time of 29.66 at Sandown Park.
Tips: 8-1-6-7
Heat six contains the exciting Fancy Dean who provided a great battle with fellow star Loathsome in a determined win last week in 30.26. With a personal best of 29.74, he is able to handle the tricky boxes, which will be handy after he exits from box five.
Can't Be Sure from box eight has blistering early pace and is the winner of four races from five starts at Bathurst, recording best of the night figures on every occasion with his personal best 29.73. Main Drag has come up with the coveted box one and despite being a moderate beginner does have consistent Wentworth Park form.

Boom youngster Loathsome will take centre stage in heat seven, after being run down in the latter stages by Fancy Dean last week, a favorable box two should see the Richmond track record holder command the lead. On his inside is talented Graeme Bate sprinter Wongawilli Wala who won a heat of the recent Group Two Ladies Bracelet in a flying 29.86 and will take full advantage of a positive box draw.
Big Stomper, despite drawing box four is a good beginner and has recorded some impressive times at Gosford recently with a personal best of 29.98. A winner here last week in 30.16, a clean start may seem him repeat his efforts. With stunning statistics of eight wins from ten races, Dyna Bert is unbeaten in his last three starts with recent victories at The Meadows and Cannington. He has an impressive record from the seven box, therefore should be fazed by the wide draw.

Heat eight contains the exciting Allen Elroy who last week defeated Kilty Lad in a FFA at Sandown Park in a fast 29.68. He has also recorded an impressive personal best at The Meadows clocking 29.87 and will start from the favourable box three.
Chenzou Boy returned to his best form last week in a classy 3/4th grade in 30.11 from the difficult box six, which he has also drawn tonight. Devine Law and Sudden Splash are both looking to keep their unbeaten run of three consecutive wins alive as they will start from box seven and one respectivly.
Tips: 3-1-7-6
Heat nine consists of Group Two Ladies Bracelet finalist Darya Bale who recorded a blistering 29.81 in her heat win before finishing a gallant third in the final. With solid early pace, her box three draw so provide her enough room to find the rails.
Despite a poor box six, Mr Clydsdale has shown he can handle the wide boxes winning here three starts ago in a flying 29.82. His personal best of 29.62 and his big winning margins, illustrates he will be a test to the series overall. Loose Lionel has good won his past two starts and a box one draw should see him fill a placing.
Tips: 3-6-1-8
The final heat sees exciting Anthony Azzopardi's Or Catra offspring Zipping Malfoy exiting from box two and with good early pace and a personal best of 29.97, he should get a clear run to the first turn. His Wentworth Park record is impressive, two wins from three starts.
Here Comes Kenny produced a stunning victory just over a month ago at Wentworth Park where he demolished his opposition by almost thirteen lengths in 29.87. After falling last start in a FFA, his poor record from box five could make the difference. Good Odds Knocka recorded a flying 22.48 in a 400m victory at Bulli less than a week ago and with consistent early pace should be one of the front runners.
