Teddy She Goes Goes And Was Gone At Casino

The customary early brilliance of sprinter Teddy She Goes proved to be the deciding factor in her taking out the Ranvet 4th and 5th grade stake last . Beginning like a bullet, she held the fence to hold out Blaze We Know in the run to the first turn.

Both greyhounds went as “one” in the back straight, and were also joined by Turbulent Teddy, but the rails runner held the advantage, and was able to kick away at the top bend. To the cheers of her supporters she raced away to win by 2 3/4 lengths in a speedy kicked 23 seconds.

Jason Fredericks trains this daughter of Go Wild Teddy, and he was joined by Ranvet representative Paul Hoffmann for the victory photo shoot. Both are keen Souths supporters so there was plenty to talk about, besides the win.

Fastest time over the “shorts” was run by equal track record holder Within Site who clocked 22.91. She returned to her best by charging out of the traps and running a fast first sectional (8.42), to give nothing else a chance. On the line she had two lengths to spare from the “in form” who ran her usual honest race. It was the second leg of a winning double for trainer as his maiden performer Villa Rides broke his”duck” earlier in the afternoon. He ran 23.41 in a three length victory.

made it two in a row when he duplicated his success of the previous week. Again drawn in box eight,he got around the early leader at the first bend and was off for the prize. He won by 2 1/4 lengths and ran 27.86 for trainer Stephen Keep. He just keeps on improving and could prove competitive as he rises through the grades.

Laurie Walker's Night Marc returned to her best form to score a solid win in the Distance stake. Sing Hallelujah took up the early running and with Night Marc hot in pursuit, both greyhounds kicked clear of the rest. Night Marc made a wide run as they went down the back to get the advantage but in the home straight Sing Hallelujah made a late charge to fail by a length. The winner clocked 35.76 .

The novice stayers event was run earlier, and it was taken out by visitor Carly Bale. It was a change of luck for connections as in her last two runs here she has been narrowly beaten. Staying might be her forte as she did the job well to win by 2 1/4 lengths in 35.97.

Dillemma Solved was another to put two wins together when she won the opening event. She finally gort the better of Lady Proper turning for home to win by 2 1/2 lengths in 23.22, whilst Addsun took out the Tweed to final when he made a big run to grab the lead on the circle before racing away to salute by 3 1/2 lengths in 23.20. puts the “polish” omn her.

Danial Armfield's Pitch Blue Chief set the time standard over the 484 metres when he ran 27.37 in the Westlawn Finance stake in scoring by four lengths, and Jet Lesson railed through near home to get the verdict by a half length. He ran 27.82.

The two 484 metre maidens proved very competitive with winning for by a head in 28.03, while Night Enforcer got in by a neck in 28.02 for Claude Dacey.
