After gaining experience in the West, including handling former super stayer when he won the Group One , the young enthusiast took some time out away from the action and hard work that racing involves.

Whilst Fraser had no intention at the time of returning to the sport, Emily admits that she, “Just loves them so much”, and as a result was drawn back into the industry, along with the help of a 25 kilogram bitch called West on Emily.

Since being back, Emily has teamed up with her father, Anthony Fraser and the dynamic duo have hit a purple patch with kennel star West on Emily, who has certainly turned into handy little chaser for the father daughter combo. Beginning her career at , the daughter of showed potential from the start, winning on debut in a handy 17.89 seconds for the 307 metre trip. After two seconds at Bathurst and Unibet Gardens and another unlucky fourth at Bathurst, the pint sized performer has faced the starter on four occasions for four very impressive victories. Her successful streak started at Lithgow where she strung together two impressive wins in best of the day times clocking 24.82 seconds and 24.67 seconds respectively for the 414 metre trip. The blue sprinter has since gone on to claim a 450 metre win at Bathurst before the highlight of her short career came on Saturday night when West On Emily claimed the last at Richmond, running 23.10 seconds over 400 metres at what was a very gutsy and determined chasing effort.

With the impressive record of five wins and two placing's from just eight starts, the youngster's talent is still , with Anthony now freshening her up before resuming at next month where she should give the Hunter Valley speedsters a scare.

Anthony currently has five greyhounds in work; including West on Emily's litter brother West on Elle with both the littermates turning into fantastic money spinners for the Wallerawang mentor. Also in the pipeline is a half-brother to the brilliant chaser Prince Diablo, who will hopefully possess some of the talent of his champion sibling.

Anthony, who has been training greyhounds for fifteen year has certainly passed on some of his passion to his aspiring daughter, who plans on getting her trainers license this year. Young Emily possesses all the makings of a great trainer and is a valuable asset to the industry.
