South Australia Acknowledges Its First Anabolic Steroid Positive

Head Paul Marks has finally made public South Australia's first positive swab to an anabolic steroid in a greyhound.

Mr Marks informed registered greyhound trainer that her greyhound had tested positive to the anabolic steroid Hydroxystanazolol in a post race urine swab.

The positive swab stems back to the Greyhound Racing Club SA meeting held at Port Augusta on 11th October 2008.

Flame McBain competed in Race 5, a special event over 503 metres and placed 1st in the best of the day, earning $430.

Mrs. Kelly has been advised that she is required to attend an at the offices of Greyhound Racing SA Limited (GRSA) on Monday 8th December 2008 at 11.00am.
